Who is Kabete Mart?
A small, independent team helping Kenyan shoppers buy better — with reviews that are researched, not reworded.
What we do
Kabete Mart is an affiliate review site — not a shop. We don't hold stock, take payments or deliver anything. Instead, we research products Kenyans actually search for, compare the serious options side by side, and point you to the retailer with our honest recommendation.
When you click through and buy, the retailer pays us a small commission. That's how the site keeps the lights on — and it's why our incentive is to recommend products that won't get returned, not products that cost the most.
How we choose products
Every pick goes through the same three steps:
- Research. We study specs, verified owner feedback and hands-on reports — including the complaints, not just the marketing.
- Compare. No product is reviewed in a vacuum. Each pick is weighed against its two or three closest rivals on price, durability, warranty and fit.
- Recommend. If we wouldn't spend our own money on it, it doesn't get a recommendation — whoever pays the higher commission.
How we make money
Our product links are affiliate links — mostly to Amazon through the Amazon Associates programme, and occasionally other retailers. The retailer pays the commission; your price is identical either way. You'll find this disclosure repeated on every page that contains affiliate links, because we believe it should be impossible to miss, not buried.
What we won't do
- Sell rankings or review placements to brands
- Quote stale or invented prices — we always send you to the live listing
- Recommend products we haven't researched properly
