The full review
The Future Rider revives Puma's 1980 Fast Rider with modern materials — and it's one of the most comfortable lifestyle sneakers in its class. The Rider Foam midsole is genuinely soft underfoot, and at barely 250g per shoe, long days on your feet don't feel like it.
The retro colour-blocking is the appeal: it reads sporty with joggers and surprisingly sharp with jeans. The nylon-and-suede upper breathes well in Nairobi heat, and the outsole's stud pattern grips tarmac and tile confidently.
Sizing runs slightly narrow — wide feet should go half a size up. It's a lifestyle shoe, not a performance runner, so don't take it to serious mileage.
