The full review
The Tab S8+ is the tablet that makes you question whether you need a laptop. The 12.4-inch AMOLED display at 120Hz is genuinely gorgeous — films, reading and photo editing all look superb — and the included S Pen turns it into a serious note-taking machine.
Samsung's DeX mode is the sleeper feature: connect a keyboard and it behaves like a desktop, windows and all. For students writing essays or professionals editing documents, it's a legitimate work setup. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 keeps everything fluid.
It's not cheap, and the keyboard cover costs extra — but few devices cover entertainment, creativity and productivity this well in one slab.
